The Evo SLs are not great. I don’t understand the hype about them. They are worse in every way possible than the Boston 12s. The geometry is strange, the upper mesh is not that breathable, the tongue is a mess (I have to rearrange it every time lacing), the heel pocket is terrible. Yes, the foam in the midsole is ok, but the shoes don’t have the bounce of the insert rods in the Bostons. What a disappointment!
