Another cold day and very windy on the peaks. The wind on Algonquin got me off balance several times (quite strong), but Wright was worse (living up to its reputation haha). I literally had to go on all fours to get to the very top of Wright (even sitting down at the top it was almost blowing me onto my side 😂). I checked the Whiteface summit weather station after the hike and it had a gust to 47mph shortly after I left the top of Wright. So, with Wright being known for its wind, I would have to guess it was gusting into the 50's at least there. Plus, Whiteface had a high of 5 degrees today (without factoring in the wind), so Algonquin was likely ~4 degrees for a high I'd say.
