Mill @ 7.5mph. w/u 20min 0 -> 6%, then dynamic stretches + glute activations, then 15 x (2min @ 6%, 1min @ 0%), c/d at 0% with 4x30s pickups @ 12%. 

Last time I did 2:1 reps at 7.5mph, I used 7% and 1% as the gradients, but my HR quickly drifted above LT2 and I had to take extra minutes of rest after the 4th & 8th reps before calling the workout early after 12 (feeling totally demolished to boot). Today felt very controlled at 6% and 0%-- I never stood on the sides or took extra rest and I could have done another 5 reps without burying myself. My HR stayed in z3 the whole time, maxing out a few beats below LT2. Maybe next time I'll try 6.5% if the first few reps at 6% feel controlled again.
