Collegiate Club Relay. Ik. Such a competitive event.
I felt so fast. Had the best lap time of the race (upon review the splits don’t seem right. At least Strava says my lap was 20 seconds faster!). Jumped those uphill, super-tall barriers and cruised the whole course taking us from 4th to a gap on 2nd. Olivia started and did well, Lizzie third after me and did a crazy good run against the guys, and Nathan finished up easily and safely. So proud of my lap bc I was worried after feeling rough yesterday but I prepped for this day just right and did felt like I did everything perfectly on the day. Also what a fun course! Perfect for me with the stairs, crazy barriers, and turn-heavy with no hill.
Oh and we also won the team omnium over Boulder. We were behind 6 points after day 1 but this pulled us through.
I need better barrier pictures from the other side… also I didn’t know what to do with my hands in the photo 😢
