I found it in Point Reyes and brought it all the way home with me!

It was the perfect way to start the holiday season.  I'm taking some time off the bike but the sights, sounds and smells from today will stay with me.

I've never taken the detour to Chimney Rock until today.  I went over there at the suggestion of a nature photographer.  I got to see elephant seals starting to arrive. It's just juvenile males right now, who were playing in the water and lounging on the beach.  It gives you no sense of the conflicts that are yet to come.  Turn up the volume on the videos - you can hear one of the seals barking/snorting.

PSA:  The RSR bridge path will be open continuously until the Sunday after New Years.
