Breaking trail in the rain has to be some deep metaphor for life. Broke out the first 7.5 miles to Cabot (4.5 hours). Snow got super wet and heavy. Slow going and arduous on Kilkenny Ridge. Tons of moose track and literal steamy piles of shit. Can’t believe I didn’t see one. At 3510’, UPP is the lowest elevated mountain on the NH 100 highest list. Neat!

Completely drenched upon returning to my car. Can barely use my hands. I’ll be here thawing out. With 326 lifetime NH 4Ks, I’ve finished my 3rd round of the NH48
