I don’t know how to write a post about this. I went out early for the West Maui Loop and had rough encounter with a Maui native that was not paying attention. The video cuts off just seconds before the impact. The result — 5 broken ribs, 10 fractured vertebrae, broken scapula, major lacerations and a collapsed lung.  That was Thursday. I walked out of the hospital today — head, neck and spine all intact.  No broken legs or arms. No casts and no brace. From paramedics, to surgeons, to nurses, to family, to friends. Grateful for all of the love, prayers and support, and for the miracle that has me walking, talking, and smiling. I cannot describe the overwhelming sense of gratitude and humility I feel. God lives you’ll never convince me otherwise.
