Self supported with 3 liters of water and some Snickers. Only took a small pitstop in hometown Diksmuide for a Cola and a Luikse wafel from the 24H shop. 

Beautiful route ‘Bachten de Kupe’ from Buysscheure 🇫🇷 to Nieuwpoort 🇧🇪 following the full length of the IJzer river. 

Probably not the best idea to do it with an icy headwind of 3 Beaufort in this open and exposed landscape, but still had a great day. Almost got eaten by a huge French dog after 25K, luckily managed to stay calm and scare him away. Some very muddy sections, but I was lucky most of it was frozen. Strongly recommend this hidden gem far away in the Westhoek, full of history from WWI. Not easy to get to the start, but you won’t regret it!
