Had to hop of the bike and walk 5-600m as they had closed the roads for a festival… I think that was the last straw for one of my cleat bolts that took the opportunity to make a break for it. Unaware of this the next time I was clipping out my right foot (which is only is when I get off the bike completely) the cleat just twisted under the shoe… I definitely didn’t top over like stiff sheep being pushed over… I promise! 

In other observations, there is something special about hot McDonald fries during a cold winter ride, just magical!

Also tried out really tiny tires on the gravel horse… gone from 50mm to 45mm on the last ride and today puny 35mm … probably not the best idea since there were black ice all over the place. Back on bigger rubber for next ride, but fun trying it out.
