Day 3 * 70km. Today’s 70k at pace 24km/h (turning at Sibya Ave of 24.7km so did not lose too much pace back into the wind. 3days 210km 3600m climbing.
That was kak. That was hard. Waited for rain to stop and road to dry. Was going to airport but realised no water bottles. So to Holla and around power station. Heat of the day 10-1pm and sun came out to play lol 😝
Long and slow to Glendale (end of tar). Cross winds all the way out and back. Low controlled HR till last 12km home.
Kak ride. Trail bashing. Charlie stealing all the Hak n steek bushes and Taryn bought so much land at Holla and left none for us. Tired legs
Very very easy with Josh. Helping with recovery ride after his flu. Keeping HR around 120 so his can stay below 140
