Note: My actual time end to end was: 8:30:53 (Strava in some places is showing what it thinks is my moving time).

I've been meaning to do the full Bigelow range, and though I had a bunch of reasons to wait for "a better day," I decided what the heck, I'll just go run/hike the Bigelow Range Traverse now and not stress about it. So on Friday the 13th of July 2018 I did. 

My husband, Dave, came with me, but we shared no gear, food, water, route finding (well, he followed me), or anything else, so this was an unsupported (accompanied) trip. 

I did take time to stop and take some pictures, filter/treat water, chat with a section hiker, and so on. And then randomly met an old friend on the trail, which was a great surprise. Oh, and there was a goat...hiking with its people.

It was an interesting and good day in the mountains.
