Afternoon Ride

Started with a 95 TT loop, way too much pressure in the tires, Gauntlet was really rough the first time, ditched about 5 PSI front and rear, I believe that happened because I set pressures while the tires were still very cool from the car’s AC, after that I eased back into solid pace with accelerations on Lakeside, Hemlock Tunnel was loose with small rocks and leaves, similar in steepness to Star Gap in some ways, then Brushy Mtn to Gauntlet, felt much smoother and less fatigued the second time down, stayed off the hands, finished win 4 laps or First Deck doing accelerations and a 2 mile cool down

Now that I’m a little recuperated...legs definitely felt better today. Not endless, but definitely plenty of hard pulls in them, especially for 28 hours awake at the beginning of the workout.  Tuesday needs to be a hard morning ride, then start the taper and rehab.  Some very easy rides on the power trainer will be important later in the week.
