Full Body (Power)

Once upon a time... we had left Ethan’s car and mine at the bottom of Butterfield, so we could drive Austin’s car to the top and then run down to our cars to get some downhill training, to then return in one of our cars to retrieve Austin’s car. We drove to the top of Butterfield canyon, or at least to a place where Austin’s car could make it, and found out it was only 6.6 miles up and were planning for 12. So we decided to run up some rocky steep road for 2.7 miles and got to the top of the Kennecott copper mine overlook where we then turned around to run the other 2.7 miles. Once we ran down the steep rocky road and had passed Austin’s car for a mile or so, Ethan came to the realization that we had left our car keys in Austin’s car and would have no other option than to run back up to get them... until some random dudes who seemed to love tattoos, dubstep music and vaping, with only one seat available, came to our rescue and drove Austin to his car to get our car keys. From there on, it was just downhill running and occasional stops, since I had some stomach issues along the way. Finally we decided to run 13 miles instead of 12 since we would finish around 12.5 with all that had happened.
