The Bull

Ignore the cup... that was the ambulance!  Lorry came out of Ashley Road as I was coming down crouch end hill road... broke hard and avoided skidding/sliding (didn’t fancy the underside of the lorry!) ... and frontal impact... and lorry drove over my foot!   Police, ambulance, 4hrs+ in hospital and result is a fractured foot and lots of pulled muscles and bruises... bike written off!  Many good news stories here... the helmet (why do we see people ride without them?  Madness), the people in the street who were brilliant, the police, the impressive ambulance crew, the hospital porters, nurses, doctors, x-ray teams... and off course, Alison!   On crutches... out for 6 weeks... a bike down... but kept control and am fortunate!
