Broken uphill Fartlek

Taking the winter option of the Thredbo chairlift I started out from Eagles Nest on the Mount Kosciuszko Summit walk route a favourite in summer for people to stand on the top of Australia. Way more fun in winter where the landscape is a winter wonderland and the ridges look more dominating in white.

Tough going in trail shoes as the snow was shin deep most of the way but still good time coming back down. Made for slow going and a longer day out than expected.

*If deciding to head up there in winter PLEASE triple check weather conditions and take appropriate safety gear.
