The second part of the Raid Pyrenees is a steady warm up ride through the vinyards on the local 'Route des Vins' & easy light rolling hills to the foot of the first real Pyrenees climb the Col de Jau which can be tackled in the following stage 03.

Languedoc Roussillon is a region in the south of France. Roussillon was part of Spain until the Treaty of the Pyrenees in 1659. Nowadays Roussillon is also referred to as Northern Catalonia and Catalan is one of the region’s languages.

The Raid Pyrenees (Raid Pyrénéen) is an epic coast to coast route from the Mediterranean Sea to the Atlantic Ocean. Take on the challenge, climb the individual mountains one by one and reach the Atlantic.
