Evening Run

Fewer but longer tempo reps than last week, and one km more of work today. A 35 min 10k in a workout with recovery kilos, can't be mad at that!

It definitely didn't feel as easy as last week, but it was still very smooth and I'd say at least 85-90% of it was in that nice "comfortably hard" zone. Had to work for it a bit on the tail end of the last 2k.

Started with an easy 1km again but also finished with one because I had originally planned to do 4 reps of 2k, but 3 seemed enough and I felt good enough to at least finish off one more km.

Splits were solid today:

Target pace was 3:14 (6:28), so not bad at all. Felt tough at the end but still a fairly modest early season workout. Excited to see what I can throwdown at the 10k champs next week!
