Lunch Run

Extended lunch of 2 mug shots, crumpets and Garabaldi on Friday then nil by mouth until 7am. A couple of muffins with jam for breakfast and a bottle of Lucozade about an hour before the off (with a single lopramide). No drink or food on run just a few cups of water over my head. Lots of dead turns and runners to over take who were sticking to the inside line. Weather about perfect except humidity a bit high. Tarmac was very pitted and I got stones stuck in my shoes. Lost feeling in both feet at about 8km for about 5km. Dip in heart rate was stitch. Cramp after last dead turn on final lap. No reall drama, just running. Not a great location for a run, but the course was reasonably fast.
