19:32 to half way, having been sensible on the hill (I got passed by 10 or so and caught by Alex Ross). Then ran hard but within myself as the fatigue built.
Not much left for a fast finish but found the willpower for about the last 200 metres. 19:09 for the second half - negative split
Was nice to see Emma at the top of the hill cheering me on.
Near perfect conditions: cool, dry, light winds. The final 2km were in to the wind.
