Great teamwork today. The race started and nobody wanted to take up the race, so Calum set a steady pace for the first half lap and then Francis put in an attack, as the group caught him he put in another one. Then as the group caught him again, it was perfect as it was just as we turned into the headwind. So I attacked got a gap, one other came with me, but he couldn't really help, so I backed off and waited for a couple of others. Then we started working and got a small gap, Calum then jumped across, but a few others came with him. So it was a group of 10 which was too big, so I went again. This time 3 came with me and we were working together, but I didn't want to open the gap too much as the plan was for Calum to jump over, so I paced it for a lap, doing a few turns then dropping back. Then on the 3rd lap I saw Calum attack from the group so I slowed up, picked him up and then we were off. It was then just a 50km 2man Time Trial. We drop one of the guy's, but the other 2 were just about staying with us, but not doing any turns. Which was fine, we open a good gap quickly, then with 2 laps to go we had about 2min so we knew we were ok, so we had an agreement with the other 2 that we had the 1-2 and they could have 3-4. So brilliant teamwork and 3 out of 3 so far.
