I was a tad ambitious, and ignored the need for lights because "I'll be home in time", the road I needed was completely snowed out, and had to go over to the next town. Ignored the ice on the ground and BOMBED it, still got stuck in the dark, fuck all hard shoulder. Luckily some absolute here minivan driver saw I was going to die on this sketch single lane highway thing and trailed behind me blocking traffic for 3 miles while I rode like a cat out of hell to get to town. FUUUUUCK ME. Lights. Always take lights. Even if you dont need lights. Lights lights lights.
