The OKT for now on a route just put up on the FKT boards. Was going to hit Cardigan today for a training run anyway, so figured I may as well do the loop. 

Conditions are ... Early season. Extremely wet. Still some snow in spots, though few places with more than a couple of snow steps in a row. Very slow though. Plenty of blowdowns, deep standing and running water, leaf litter luge, etc. Lost the South Ridge Trail briefly, was confused where the Woodland Trail intersects the Clark Trail, and lost the Back 80 trail due to blowdowns where it gets really steep before Mowglis.

This time will go way down with better conditions, knowing the route thoroughly, and actually pushing hard. I expect to run about 30 mins faster with better conditions and knowledge alone. Lots of techy trail in there that just doesn't flow, especially when wet and littered with branches.

The sun came out just before 9am. If I could have waited until later in the day, it might have been quite nice out there!
