It's gotten cold

My 2nd fastest marathon but a little disappointing that I tailed off towards the end.
Way under Mat's stated goal time though.
Pretty even splits for both halves, 2nd lap 19s slower.
I got strong cramp twinges in my left calf with 700m to go so had to slow a bit but could still run and was able to push a good pace over the finishing line.
Good crowd support most of the way around and music and cheerleaders and dancing troops at various points.
4 notable hills each lap. The toll bridge was a bit of a slog but striking to run up, and good views from the top.
En route I ate 7 gels and some jelly beans, and 2nd breakfast before the start was a double decker #pronutrition
Interesting and pleasing to see that I climbed the final big ascent 6 seconds quicker in the 2nd lap, even though it felt like I was running through treacle with no power.
