Afternoon Weight Training

I think my watch may be a bit inaccurate with the mileage/elevation. I've noticed some discrepancies when I've run with other people in the past and this trail had markers every .25 that didn't align with my watch's distance reading. Not a big deal at all, but according to the trail markers, today was closer to 11. Super beautiful, undulating section of singletrack trail that sneakily tires out your legs. 4*20 second strides were done during the middle of the run on vary surfaces so the pace isn't super impressive, but I felt like the effort and leg speed were there, which I suppose is what matters. I was pretty tired this morning and had a headache, so I wasn't super excited to run. The plan was to park at Robert's Market and run into Huddart. As I was driving, the idea of running along the ridge got me excited and so I hit an audible and drove up King's Mountain to the Skyline trailhead. Sometimes it's a small tweak in location that can completely change the tone for a run, really glad that I leaned into this feeling and pursued the joyful route.
