Solid line of cars that time of day, and lots of exhaust fumes as I climbed up 141 to Christopher Clark Rd, but when I turned into the reservation it was another world. The rock cliffs glowing up above in the sun were so fine. If you drive through there in a car I don't think you can even see them, but from the seat of a bicycle it's just ideal. I stopped and looked at the timber frame pavillion I built back around 1998 (not the stonework but the frame and roof). And then it was swoopy and cool heading down through the woods on Reservation Rd. I also found the trailhead on Underwood Rd where Ross K. did a fabulous run a couple days ago. Peeking into the woods at the trail I decided if I ever had to choose just one activity, for pure enjoyment, it would be trail running. I'm counting on this knee injury not being chronic! Also found Reservation Rd West where Boog diligently does all his hill repeats. Rode up to Goat Peak too; first time up there.
