Doddington Hall sportive. 

What an interesting day! Set off at 7:30 and it was warm and only got hotter. Finally got up to about 26C. Then turned back, first came the headwind, then drizzle, then the temperature dropped to 15C, then it tipped it down. What a day!

Aiming for a sub-6hr 100 miles, and managed by 8 seconds. Aimed for 6:30 total, so really pleased. It hurt though. Probably over cooked it to start off in a nice group, but couldn't manage my heart-rate so had to go solo and take it easy. That didn't help. Thought I was toast, but I managed to get there in the end. Really pleased.
