Great morning ride out to Mont Vial, up on a ridge line. Had my strangest animal attack yet - a flock of large goats were right at the very top, and when I arrived dripping in sweat they all rushed up and started licking me!! After the salt I guess. But they were very persistent - chased me down the hill!  The riding was fab - the big climb was very Cent Cols style, barely a road with lots of rocks. But was fine. Views spectacular.  2nd on several versions of Mont Vial, but was pretty much on the limit for that length of climb; and I was second to Romain Bardet on one of them, so I'm not too upset...
