Didn't plan on going with the record attempt group as I thought they would be way too fast. Just happened to end up with them at the start surprised myself and hung on until the end. A looooooong day in the saddle, but actually much shorter than I expected since we finished 3 hours sooner than I planned!  Really a perfect day with little wind and clear skies and moderate temps. Rode to the start and then rode home after, taking the scenic route and people watching everyone enjoying the waterfront.
