Beautiful day until I looked up and saw the rain coming in from the west. Got caught in a blast of dust and wind where I had to grab on to an overpass railing so as to not be blown away. Strongest wind I have ever been in while on my bike. At first it looked like maybe a fire in the distance, but it got closer quickly. It was like a high speed mini-haboob! Prior to that, it was a calm and peaceful day.

Nose Hill Park is a treasure. The people of Calgary have a great place for casual biking, walking, hiking, running their dogs free (saw a small pack of four coyotes, so small dogs should be kept close.)
