Morning Run

2nd Place, and great prepper for the upcoming hundy. Rainy for a couple hours in the night, and sunny and warm during the day. 7pm start, then at 1:40am after 50K, slept in back of car 2am-6:30am, returned to running just before 7am. Took an hour break after hitting 100K. Walked the uphills in most laps and steady jogged the flats and downs. Steady push the last 5 laps (1.9 miles per lap) to secure podium and use the full time. 

Changed socks often, 3 shoes, 4 shorts, 3 visors, many shirts. Hydration/nutrition/peeing was steady and executed well. Mixed it up with Gatorade, water, Tailwind, gels, chews, cookies, fruit, candy, chips, pickles, energy balls. Tried to keep aid station stops brief. Stayed on top of sunblock, bug spray, and SNB lube. Felt decent afterwards, just generally tired. Could have kept going if time allowed. A little tender on feet bottoms and knees in late miles, but virtually zero pain and suffering, esp when walking. No cramping at all. 2 small blisters by left foot big toe, from late in the race. Good confidence builder and getting excited for Yeti 100!
