Took my new Mavic Comete wheelset for a test run today and (pardon my French) those things are fucking rockets. On flat stretches of road, those things were worth at least 15 watts and an extra 2 mph at a fairly low tempo.
With a 90% chance of thunderstorms, I figured the NHMS series would be cancelled tonight so I did a short tempo ride with five 30-second max effort sprints. Good openers for the weekend.
P.S. Gave the Tarmac a fairly thorough tune-up Wednesday and the clicking has ceased.
