Breakfast on the campsite: pain au raisin then a late-ish start but it was all flat bar one unnecessary climb through a village when we could have just stayed on the road. Followed the Canal Latéral for a while then switched to dyke top paths beside nature reserves for much of the way. Just short of our intended campsite, Karon’s blood sugar got low, so we stopped for a picnic lunch.
