Pune-Baramati national level cycling race 2019 post-race report...
110 km with an average speed 39 km/hr 
The Race started with 10 km neutral zone. As Hadpasar passed race started with lots of riders trying to break away, while making their ways to the ghat, but no one succeeded. As ghat ended, I thought this is the time to push the limits, resulted in breakaway of 5 riders including me. This was tough and harsh. As saswad arrived I decided to sprint and got 1st in this phase of the race. There was a 5-minute break at saswad. Again many racers started to breakaway seeing this as an opportunity but no one got their desired result. They say; “patience is the key.” And I waited, took my risk and chances.
The finish line was 20 km away, I bumped hard on the speed breaker, I managed the bump but got hit by another rider while recovering the bump. I fell. I caught my knees in pain, legs started to cramp, felt like my legs are not supporting. It was hard to digest.
I managed to finish the stage 1 with 1st place. It was a good race and a lesson. Got awarded from MP and actor Dr Amol Kolhe. Many races to come few to remember!
