I feel like I got a sip of what Barkley is like with all the manzanita scrapeage happening up that way. It “heals” up reaching the summit and then has to be reopened on the way down. Wow. Keeps things exciting. And slow. It was good to get some climbing done, but I wish I could’ve gotten more running in there. Very, very pretty out there this morning. The Momyer flowers have been on point this summer. And it was nice to actually get in a sunrise.
