My Sunday Fun Day

John Tonetta and I rode down to Hains Point to meet other teammates and CC, who rides for PBFC.  We took off for Falls Church VA where the bicycle shop is located.  When we got there, there were a good number of cyclists there and ready to ride.  This was a special ride today with an A/B playful competition.  You would expect the A's would win but, when the rules of the game applies, there is no denying the winner.  The B's won!  It didn't appear that way but, what you gonna do.  The bottom line is, each group has to finish with all it's players and we lost two.  In all fairness, this was a great routing scheme.  The course was very technical with rolling hills and lots of turns.  So, if you get dropped it is hard finding your way forward or backward.  The fabulous thing about the routing scheme is you could surely get picked up by the opposing group because we both took off from the start in the opposite direction.  We gave the B group a five minute start.  It was also a C group with less miles and not in the competition.  One of our two guys got picked up by the C group.🤪 All in all it was a great day on the bike hosted by some great guys at PBFC.  At the finish we watched the last 5k of Le Tour and scarfed down some Sausage Sizzle!!
