Last time I wore skis was in 2004, so 10 years ago. I was invited by a close friend to go skiing today, but to say that I was freaked out was an understatement. I even kissed everyone at home goodbye just in case I died. However, once I got on the slopes, it took me a total of 10 seconds to remember everything. The reflexes were well ingrained and I could have a ton of fun going up and down the slopes. 30 runs in total, almost 5h on skis today. I am just about starting to feel my knees as I rest on the couch and I had absolutely no pain while skiing, not even in my quads, calves etc. This shows how much stronger I am than 10 years ago. Unbelievable. I remember back in my skiing days, I was ready to go back home by 1pm. Today we left after 5pm! So happy with this progress, and the successful day. Made me so happy!! If you zoom in, you can even see the turns. Love my Garmin.
