Preliminary result: alternating 1x770m flying-start laps, 6 laps with each kind of shoe, aiming for steady 145 bpm and with no indication of time or pace... Hyperspeed speed=3.95 +/- 0.03 m/s, aerobic efficiency=986 +/-6 beats/mile @ 145.3 bpm avg; Vaporfly4 speed=3.99 +/- 0.02 m/s, efficiency=974 +/- 5 beats/mile  @144.8 bpm avg. So efficiency was 1.2% better in Vaporflys but standard error was about 0.6% in each number, so on the limit of significance!  Both shoes with my own heel modifications. Now written up as webpage:
