First OA at the inaugural The Groves 30K. Happy to set a reasonable CR and will be back next year to defend the title and better the CR. Awesome course and perfect conditions, maybe a little hot but overall a great morning. 
Had a pack of 4 through the first 1.5 miles, then a pack of three through mile 3, and then just two of us through the first aid station ~6 miles in. He stopped, I didn’t, so from there I built a steady lead over the next 12 miles. Definitely challenging to get chased for 12 miles while still holding enough in the tank to finish. 
What’s next...🤷🏽‍♂️
