I came out here last weekend with the goal of getting the Unsupported FKT...8hrs into the run I realized it wasn’t the day I hoped for. I spent the night power hiking and trying to get into a rhythm but never got it dialed in. Called it a day at the white river campground and planned to return at the end of the month.

I’ve been planning this run for a long time and my DNF last weekend really put me in a bad place mentally. I struggled to understand what happened and why.  So a few days after I decided I needed to come prove to myself I could do it. 

This time around I enjoyed the views, lots of picture breaks, took my time (smooth is fast / fast is smooth) and fortunately I was able to get an FKT to go with it.
