From 5° shivering in the Swiss alpine to tropical Italy with every fruit and vegetable imaginable growing along the trail. Mara met me in Staffa to get in some Italian culture, trail gossip and do her longest (trail) run to date. Day 4 running, day 6 of the trip. I passed over the Zinal to Saas Almagell segment to meet friends and sit out a storm on Monday. Surely would have been a great day, I'll get it next time.
