Arrived before police, fire & EMS @ Shaker & S Green as a cyclist was just pulled out of the road and from underneath the bus that ran him over. Bike was 100% mangled. Rider had no helmet. Miraculously, biker only had noticeable road rash all over his body and lightly bleeding cuts. No noticeable breaks or visible signs of concussions, but was in quite a bit of shock. Gave him some water and had some antiseptic wipes in my bike pouch to help him clean up and calm down a little until Police & EMS arrived. Wish i had bandages, ace/vet wrap, burn ointment, looking back on it. I immediately ordered a small trauma kit upon arriving back at work (Trying out the "Brave Soldier: Crash Pack" for cyclists.). I suggest carrying one in your tail bag as well, if you are a cyclist. 

In completely unrelated news, i would also like to report that Eaton Corporation is Private Property and will (professionally) escort you off their premises. Not that I'm complaining, but an informational sign would have been helpful. 

Pretty eventful lunchtime bike ride.
