Played 2 National Anthems today, one for the 100 miler and one for us, then jumped on the bike and hammered away with the 50 milers... Only had 2 water bottles, I thought we would stop at the aid stations at mile 17 and 25.. uhhhh no..  and my dumb azz purposefully dranked down allz muh water by 17 miles in thinkin' i would re fill... problem iz.. Ploch and Jimmy had no plans to stop!!  shit.... oh well, no food either.. i did have food and a water bottle in my camel back, but there was no stopping so just had to suck it up!!  coming back into the rough azz lake loop, i took the pointy end and was rolling in solo with a nice lead for the win! Until I flatted 1/2 mile out from the finish! seriously.. what shit.. I wanted that flat at mile 20 :) Ugg.. good times though, great people and venue.. Was one of those times while digging that deep when u realize your tougher than you know.... Damn that hurt... Zombie NIght race and Bt Epic next... ya boi!!
