We made it. Cloudy and Freezing start, no sight of Everest on top of Pass. Many switchbacks in the fog on the 20k descent. Shed layers, start climbing to Everest. Have a snack, last 15km blue sky’s and the first view of Everest. Be tourist, have lunch in tent at Base Camp, ride back to check point. Decide I want more and ride until the bus caught me at the bottom of the climb where we started. Good ass day.
