if i have to work in vegas on sunday, then it's well worth it to get a trip up this big boi! long road, long wash, t-god for the spring (ran with 2L bladder). Long ridge with a good little "route" to follow then once on the ridge super pretty. Could see from Vegas to Whitney, a bunch of those (basically immortal) bristlecone pines. descent was pretty fun, just dry dirt. Spent a bit at the spring as we tapped our water hours before. Forgot how long the wash and then gravel road is back down. Did the last 45min or so phone/head lamp (abby remembered her's, i forgot). Apparently doesn't count as a solo unsupported women's FKT for abby because I went with her, but FWIW, she did faster than any other lady thus far! Brett's time is pretty solid. For sure interested in giving it a shot next time I'm in vegas for work now that i've figured it out.
