Phew! Okay, this wasn’t really the plan, having only just managed 5k a couple of weeks ago! I’m working in Amsterdam for a few days and thought I’d go out for an “80% effort run”, slightly slower than I’ve been going and see if I could maintain that pace for 1km longer. But when I was at 5k, I had a choice - head back to the hotel to the right or go left and run for longer. I went left! And it just felt like I could keep going for longer. It was super rainy, and the Apple Watch ended the run at 7k - maybe the rain did that. Anyway, this is part one of two chunks I recorded. So! Maybe I should seriously start thinking about a half marathon...? 🤔
