Same route as earlier this morning but as a hike

Some headwinds for miles 6-9... and I suppose some tailwind in there somewhere? Although one never does seem to notice tailwind... I suspect runners would say that tailwinds are about as mythical as the tail of the Loch Ness Monster.
Dress rehearsal with arm sleeves and race day gels. No phone and no audiobooks/podcasts/music—just me, and MP to the sea 🌊. Bathroom break before starting the 10 @ MP. Incredible to think that just a few years ago, I would have been THRILLED to run this pace for a 5k... now gonna attempt to run that pace for 8.5x the distance haha 😅
