Just another Century

To New Jersey to visit my Mom - a check in as we found out yesterday that her last remaining family member has passed away.  Mom's hair is not dyed that purple hue.  It is "natural", actually its a side effect of the chemo she's been undergoing for a couple months now.  More noticeable from the back.  She treated herself to a stuffed bear from England that matched her hair.  Upon my return just before 9PM with 175 and change miles,  I went back out for another 30 and change to get the Double Century.  Got back shortly after midnight.  Temps at 20 upon leaving at 4:30AM, dipping to 16 a couple hours later at sunrise.  High did hit 34, then back down to the upper teens close to / after midnight.  First 32 miles ridden in dark (with lights).  Turned lights back on at mile 135, thus 103 miles without lights and 103 miles with lights.  Stats say "Temperature 27" but I suspect it is a degree or two lower taking into consideration the time it took for the GPS unit to drop from room temperature to outside temperature on three occasions.

My Personal Bests showing are all Ben Franklin Bridge related.  This was the first time in memory I did not pause to take at least the obligatory photos from / of the bridge.
