Lunch Trail Run

Doing what I do best.  Crashing and burning.  

On Wednesday I was told that my upcoming Monday shoot was cancelled.  I looked up the weather for the weekend and came to the conclusion to take a stab at the overall/self supported fkt on the stoga.  I scoped out every section of the 66mi trial ahead of time, which definitely helped...but at the end of the day there were too many parts that I was just winging. There’s a lot to be learned from this and there’s much work to be done. My stomach started to turn around mile 34 and the nausea grinded me to a halt by the mid 40s.  I tried time and time again to rally myself but I just couldn’t shake the feeling.  I also heavily underestimated the fitness needed to run THAT much hilly road.  I guess I figured since I run more roads now that I could just beat that ass...I was very wrong haha.  Lastly I had never run with that much water, food, supplies, ext.  looking over my body I have bruises and pinched from all sorts of random shit.  Failing isn’t the worst thing in the world.  It certainly isn’t fun but it won’t kill me.  Regardless...I’ll be back.  Enough writing. Sleep time.
