Thanks for putting up your track. We had an entertaining time following it today:
Especially interesting was getting down from the saddle SE of S Twin Sister. I'm curious what the conditions were like for you. Rappel or down-climb?
Lukas Chrostowski - right on. We didn't go precisely to the saddle. There's a ridge dropping off the S twin directly to the saddle with N twin but it was steep snow and we didn't have crampons. We descended more to the SE to get to the glacier below. It was a bit of difficult down climbing but didn't need to make a rappel. Hopefully you found a good route!
Hi Eric, sounds similar to what we did. We didn't have a rope either but we passed two rap slings. I had crampons but didn't use them. Our route was slightly N of yours on the descent. I made a video of you want to reminisce.
Lukas Chrostowski Yep - it's just a jumble of ledges there from what I remember. Probably no good way. I'm sure it depends a lot on where/if the glacier touches the rock. It would be cool though to do the NE ridge directly to the col between. That would be the most aesthetic line for sure. It didn't look trivial though...
