Yeah I now have a 1st gear ratio <1 (34 chainring with a 36 cassette). 
 A Shimano Deore M591 9sp Rear Derailleur (72% off RRP £13.99 😊) to work with my 10 speed road shifters.  Makes for an ok light gravel bike.  
I'm not sure what's up with Strava- refreshed my results and now they have doubled the amount of segments.
